of price and the professionalism with which we
were quoted. They explained what every stage

The group are all experts in many trades, so
could complete most of the work themselves, but
where they sub-contracted, the other tradesmen
were excellent. The work was never halted as a
result of waiting for tradesmen or materials and
was completed much quicker then we had expected!
We had ideas of what we wanted , but NLC
provided suggestions and were flexible and went
out of their way to meet our needs.
NLC are friendly and professional and every
evening would tidy the site and minimise mess.
We were so satisfied with their work that we did
not hesitate to invite them back to build our
conservatory after they had completed the
original building work.

Look because they came highly recommended. I was
let down by another building firm and New Look
stepped-in very quickly. I found them to be

most of all reliable.

high quality of build! In the six weeks that
they worked on my house extension, we never had

"It was purely
quite by chance I came across NLC (New Look
Construction) aka Dave Duffy and his crew but
I’m really glad I did.
I’d already had a quote off another company but
thought it prudent to get more than one.
I was impressed with Dave from the word go as he
listened but also gave valuable input with ideas
regarding what might look good. He wasn’t pushy
though and always made sure I was happy with
what was being done.
The work I had done included the demolishing and
removal of an outbuilding, an internal wall
being knocked down, 2 RSJ’s being fitted, an
exterior door being moved with the original
opening bricked up (reusing the bricks from the
outbuilding for colour consistency) and a
completely new kitchen fitted. This included a
new ceiling in the original kitchen, full
plastering of ceilings and walls and
installation of the new kitchen, floors and
lighting.
Dave coordinated all the work and only pulled in
the people he needed on the days that were
relevant. They always turned up promptly and
worked until they needed to complete what was
required for that day.
They were thorough and proficient at the jobs
they did but also made sure they cleaned up
after themselves and left the house as tidy as
possible - which anyone that’s had building work
done would know isn’t an easy task.
To conclude – if you use NLC for your new
kitchen, bathroom, demolishing, building work
etc. then you can’t go far wrong! They are a
professional firm that deliver what they
promise, turn up on time, get the job done to a
high quality and are very good value for money.
Dave gave an initial guestimate of 2 weeks to
complete all the work, which I have to confess I
doubted, but he completed bang on time. I would
not hesitate to use them again and can’t
recommend them enough."
